Staff say All screens in use can mean one Bot's screen never started

Colin calls the message misleading when other Bots on the same computer still work. Also: a correction on the 0.70.2 idle fix, and last night's short Grok Bot outage.

Grok BotTue 13 Oct 2026

0.70.2 was said to keep your computer connected when you step away

Staff say the local helper stays up after the window sits in the background. Also: Linux local exec breaks on Ubuntu 22.04, and routines still can't send from mail.grokbot.com.

Grok Bot 1Password reconnect fails with must be reconciled

NewsConfirmed

0.70.2 was said to keep your computer connected when you step away

Staff confirmed the Mac Settings path and a Linux .deb. They have not said whether Windows gets the same unfocused fix. The changelog now lists 0.70.2 but doesn't mention this fix. A later staff reply still described the away rule; re-test on 0.70.2 before you rely on it.

Local execution fails on Ubuntu 22.04 and Pop!_OS 22.04

Staff say the Linux build needs a newer C++ runtime than those systems ship. Chat and the cloud computer still work.

TipsConfirmed

Sideload Grok Bot 0.70.2 on Linux until apt catches up

Staff posted a direct .deb for the away-fix build. The apt repo does not have it yet.

Grok Bot 0.69 and 0.70 builds appear ahead of the changelog

Mac builds of 0.69.0, 0.69.1 and 0.70.0 sit on Cursor's download server, now listed in the changelog as part of 0.70.2.
