Grok BotReleases
Team invites, HTML previews, and no 50-Bot cap
Version 0.31.0 lets admins invite a whole team and lets you preview HTML files a Bot makes.
Grok Bot 0.31.0, out Sep 1, lets team admins invite their whole team, or pick specific groups and members. A Setup Checklist on the dashboard walks admins through plugins, Slack, GitHub, sign-in, and invites.
Why it matters#
An admin can now roll Grok Bot out to a team in one pass, with a checklist of what to connect first. You can also create more than 50 Bots, and preview HTML files a Bot makes without leaving the app. It was one of four releases shipped on Sep 1.
Everything in 0.31.0#
New#
- Onboarding: Setup asks what you'll be working on most and suggests Bots for that kind of work.
- Teams: Admins can invite their whole team to Grok Bot, or pick specific groups and members.
- Teams: A Setup Checklist on the dashboard walks admins through plugins, Slack, GitHub, sign-in, and inviting teammates.
- HTML files: Opening one a Bot made shows a preview, with Source for the code. Links in the preview open in your browser.
- Cloud Agents: The open button lets you choose Open in Web or Open in Cursor, and remembers your choice.
- Network: When a firewall or VPN blocks the Bot's computer, Grok Bot says it can't reach it and offers Retry.
Improved#
- Bots: You can create more than 50 Bots.
- Routines: Hourly, interval, and daily routines run on a schedule counted from when you create them.
Fixed#
- Attachments: Files you attach and dictation stay with the Bot you started them in, even if you switch Bots.
- Cloud Agents: One your Bot started isn't launched twice when a launch is retried, and your Bot hears when it finishes.
- Linux: Links that open Grok Bot launch the app.
- Windows: Images you attach show thumbnails.
