Grok Bot opens as an early beta

The first wave covered SuperGrok Heavy, Cursor Ultra, and Cursor Teams Premium, on desktop and iOS.

SpaceXAI launched Grok Bot in early beta on Aug 11, calling it "AI teammates you can give real work to." Bots work on a computer in the cloud, sign in to the tools you already use, and come back when something needs your approval.

The first wave was narrow. The launch post and the @bot account said the beta was "available today for SuperGrok Heavy, Cursor Ultra, and Cursor Teams Premium subscribers on desktop and iOS." Enterprise customers got a waitlist.

SpaceXAI says Grok Bot usage is separate from your Grok and Cursor plans, so work you hand to a Bot doesn't count against them. The launch post has since been edited to list the plans added in later weeks. An archived copy from launch day keeps the original wording.
