Marketplace becomes Connect Apps

Version 0.67.0 adds category chips and puts Recommended for you first.

Grok Bot 0.67.0, out Oct 2, renames Marketplace to Connect Apps, with category chips under the search, Recommended for you first, and Bot templates on the web.

While a Bot works, its status now uses phrases such as Thinking it through and Working on your computer. Connected Google accounts show their email address instead of "default."

Why it matters#

Finding and connecting apps now lives in one place under a clearer name. The release also fixes app connections that failed when another app held the sign-in port, connector cards that showed Added before sign-in finished, and a failed Gmail reply-all that looked sent.

Everything in 0.67.0#

Improved#

  • Connect Apps: Marketplace is now Connect Apps, with category chips under the search, Recommended for you first, and Bot templates on the web.
  • Status: While a Bot works, its status uses phrases like Thinking it through and Working on your computer, without the Bot's name in front.
  • Approvals: Cards show when your Ask first rule paused an action or Always allow added a rule, with Edit rule to change it in Settings.
  • Google accounts: Connector cards and the account list show the account's email address instead of default.
  • Windows: Use hardware acceleration is now on by default, as on Mac. A choice you already made is kept.
  • Team Bots: Copy link shares an x.ai link, and links you already shared keep working.

Fixed#

  • Connecting apps: It finishes even when another app is using its sign-in port, and a failed sign-in page explains why.
  • Connector cards: When a card asks you to sign in again or add a second account, it offers Authorize for that account instead of showing Added.
  • Gmail: When a reply-all fails, the draft card says Message not delivered instead of showing it as sent.
  • Updates: Stop in Settings stops every running chat so Update can go ahead, and a Settings page that fails after an update offers Restart.
  • Routines: Schedules no longer claim an interval that doesn't repeat, a failed pause or resume shows an error, and chips for deleted routines say (deleted).
  • Dock badge: It no longer counts unread messages from deleted Bots.
  • Mac: The Back and Forward buttons on Logitech mice work.
  • Sidebar: Avatars no longer freeze with one eye bigger than the other.
  • Teams: When an admin turns off Route traffic through this computer, Settings, Computer says so. A failed load of your team's settings offers Retry.
