Grok BotReleases
The app says Bot instead of Agent
Version 0.19.0 also lets you upgrade to Ultra or link SuperGrok Heavy when included usage runs out.
Grok Bot 0.19.0, out Aug 14, changed the app's wording so Settings, search, and confirmations say Bot instead of Agent. It also added Manage Plan in Settings, which shows the upgrade options for your account.
Why it matters#
When your included usage runs out, you can now upgrade to Ultra or link a SuperGrok Heavy subscription, and Manage Plan in Settings shows the options for your account. If an older screenshot or post says Agent, it means the same thing as Bot.
Everything in 0.19.0#
New#
- Plans: Settings has Manage Plan, which shows the upgrade options for your account.
- Usage: When your included usage runs out, you can upgrade to Ultra or link a SuperGrok Heavy subscription.
- Chat: A Scroll to bottom button appears above the message field when you scroll up.
- Settings: A Use hardware acceleration switch sits under General, then System. It's on by default on a Mac, and Restart to Apply puts a change into effect.
Improved#
- Wording: Settings, search, and confirmations say Bot instead of Agent.
- Chat: The message field stays at the bottom of the chat, even when the chat is empty.
- Computer: You can start a computer update from Settings with Update Grok Bot's Computer.
- Safety: A request to run a command on your computer hides the command until you choose Show the command.
Fixed#
- Help: Help Center opens the Grok Bot docs.
- Terminal: Command-V pastes into a terminal on the Bot's computer.
- Permissions: Allow, Never, and Deny now clear a stuck request to run commands on your computer.
