SpaceXAI says heavy users get up to 35% more out of the same allowance.
Grok Bot users now have "an average of 10% more included usage from a more efficient harness," and up to 35% more for heavy users, the @bot account said on Sep 9.
Jediah Katz, who works on Grok Bot, had previewed the change on Sep 5. He said the team spent two weeks on "routing, caching, dynamic context usage, and overall token efficiency."
On Sep 22 Katz said Bots would reply faster, with "another 6% more usage on average."
