Grok Bot 0.77.0: question cards, Vault payments and 1Password

Update Grok Bot for multi-question cards, a first-choice payment method, and 1Password fills without a shared vault. The Grok Bot changelog lists v0.77.0, dated Oct 26, titled "Permissions, Vault payments, and question cards." It "Also includes 0.76.0."

Update, Oct 28: 0.78.1, which also includes 0.78.0, is now on the changelog and staff say it is stable and rolling out (eric zakariasson). See 0.78.1 shopping cards and subscription templates.

What changed#

New, per the changelog:

• "Bots can ask several questions on one card that steps through them, with Your own answer when none of the choices fit."
• "The Vault has a Payments tab where you pick the payment method Bots use first, and you still approve every purchase."
• "1Password connects without a shared vault: you approve each login in 1Password, which fills it in the Bot's browser without the Bot seeing it."
• "Import Memory to Grok Bot, in Settings, brings your preferences and context from another AI assistant into your primary Bot."
• "Page owners can delete a Page from the Library, which removes it for everyone it was shared with."

Improved: "Auto-review approval cards stay open for 30 minutes instead of 10, in the app and in Slack," and "Background work you start in your own words no longer asks for Auto-review approval to start." Settings gets "a Permissions section that lists Auto-review rules under Always Ask and Allow without Asking, each with its own Add Rule button." Teams: "Team admins can limit Bot sharing to admins, and share controls then say Your admin has disabled Bot sharing."

Why it matters#

Fewer interruptions: one card instead of a string of questions, and approvals that wait 30 minutes.

How to use it#

1. Open Settings, then Updates, choose Check for Updates, then Restart to Update (Cursor help).
2. Open the Vault's Payments tab and set your first payment method.
3. Try the prompt below (ours, untested). No Grok Bot desktop app on this box, so we could not try the new UI here.

Good to know#

• Some items need older builds first (1Password 0.68.0+, Import Memory 0.75.2+).
• The changelog does not mention phone calls. Calls stay user-reported per account.
• Update, Oct 28: 0.78.1 (also 0.78.0) is on the changelog; staff say stable and rolling out (eric zakariasson).

What to watch#

Whether 0.78.1 reaches every account, and whether calls get an official changelog line.
