Grok Bot 0.75.5: email forwarding, fewer approval cards, the Vault

The Oct 23 release lets Bots forward mail with attachments intact, and emails and Slack messages you ask for go out once Auto-review allows them.

Update Grok Bot and your Bot can forward an email with its attachments intact, and you should see fewer approval cards. Both are in 0.75.5, which the Grok Bot changelog dates Oct 23. At 5:24 PM ET Eric Zakariasson (@ericzakariasson, "tinkering @spacexsi, prev @cursor_ai") posted that "grok @bot 0.75.5 is now stable and rolling out!"

What changed#

New, per the changelog:

  • "Bots can forward an email from their own inbox with its original formatting, images, and attachments."
  • "Bots record who asked for each message they post in Slack, so anyone in the thread can ask who requested it."
  • "For Halloween, you can give a Bot a pumpkin shape when you create it or change its avatar."
  • The Vault, which we covered this afternoon, now has its entry: "Bots can save your logins, cards, and contact info to a Vault in Settings and fill them in to sign in or check out."

Improved:

  • "Auto-review asks less often for an action you asked for in your own words."
  • "After you deny an approval card, the Bot stops and doesn't try that action again until you send another message."
  • "Your routines can run up to 300 times an hour in total instead of 100, and each routine up to 200 times."

Why it matters#

The send rule changed. The changelog says: "Emails and Slack messages you ask a Bot to send go out once Auto-review allows them, while sends on routine and other turns still wait as drafts." A fix in the same notes covers the opposite case: Auto-review "no longer waves through an action your request said to stop before, such as sending a message you asked only to draft."

How to use it#

  1. Open Settings, then Updates, choose Check for Updates, then Restart to Update (Cursor help).
  2. Ask your Bot to forward a message from its own inbox.
  3. Say "draft only" when you want to read it first.

A starter prompt (ours, untested):

Forward the most recent invoice email in your inbox to me, with its attachments. Draft only, don't send anything else.

Good to know#

  • Forwarding, the Vault and the pumpkin shape each say "Requires Grok Bot 0.75.2 or later."
  • Forwarding covers a Bot's own inbox. For Gmail, the 0.75.2 notes said the built-in connection can "add a note when forwarding."
  • The approvals docs still read "Last updated: October 22, 2026."

What to watch#

Docs on which sends skip the draft card.
