Grok Bot 0.75.2 notes: Bots can make videos and pay with Shop Pay
The Oct 22 notes behind Pages also add video creation, Shop Pay checkout, one-tap X Money and memory shared across a personal Bot's chats.
Update Grok Bot and you can ask your Bot for a video or have it pay with Shop Pay. Both are in the Grok Bot changelog entry for 0.75.2, dated Oct 22, the same notes behind Pages (our Pages story).
What changed#
The entry rolls up eight builds: "Also includes 0.72.0, 0.72.1, 0.73.0, 0.73.1, 0.74.0, 0.75.0 and 0.75.1." It doesn't say which build added which item.
- Video (New). "Bots can create videos from a description or from an image you share."
- Shop Pay (New). "Bots can pay with Shop Pay, through Shop checkout where a store accepts it and with a one-time Shop card elsewhere."
- X Money (New). "You can connect X Money in one tap from a chat, the connector page, or checkout, after signing in to X if no X account is linked."
- Choosing how to pay (Improved). "When the Bot asks how to pay, you choose on a card."
- Memory (Improved). "What a personal Bot saves to memory in one chat is remembered in all your chats with it, and only you can change it." Grok Bot's docs add: "Memory is not a substitute for an authoritative source".
- Library (New). "You can pin Library pages, files, and links to a Pinned section that stays at the top and syncs across your devices."
Before vs after: Bots could already "pay with X Money or Stripe Link" (v0.70.2). Shop Pay is a new route.
Why it matters#
The notes give no plan, region, store list, video length or price. The approval card for purchases is older: since v0.30.0, "When your Bot wants to buy something, a card shows the amount for you to Allow or Deny". The 0.75.2 notes don't say whether Shop Pay or the Shop card go through that same card. We haven't tested either, and we made no purchase.
Good to know#
- No documented spend limit for purchases. The docs don't cover Shop Pay, X Money or video yet, but advise setting explicit boundaries for "Purchases and financial transfers". See our purchase ledger column.

Find this item and get it ready to buy, but don't pay yet. Show me the store, the item, the total with tax and shipping, and whether you'll pay with Shop Pay, a one-time Shop card or X Money. Wait for me to approve before you pay.

Steps
- Update Grok Bot on your Mac or PC to 0.75.2.
- For a video, describe the scene or attach an image and ask for a clip.
- Before any purchase, ask the Bot to show the store, item, total and payment method, and approve only when they match.
- When the Bot asks how to pay, pick the method on the card it shows.
