Grok Bot 0.78.1: shopping cards, Shop Pay and subscription templates

Update Grok Bot and shopping with a Bot shows product cards, and a template can cancel subscriptions you pick. The Grok Bot changelog lists v0.78.1, dated Oct 27, titled "Shopping cards and subscription templates." What changed#

New, per the changelog:

• "Shopping with a Bot shows products as cards with photos, rating, price, and store, plus up to two badges such as Top rated."
• "After you place an order, the Bot tracks it and tells you when it ships or arrives."
• "Connect Shop Pay in the Vault's Payments tab, then pick it in Pay with or make it the payment method Bots use first."
• "The Find unused subscriptions template cancels plans you pick from the ones you still pay for, and Watch subscription prices checks renewal prices."
• "Bots can cancel a subscription or look up its price and renewal date, and confirm with you before changing anything."
• "Bots can start cloud agents in a custom mode you name, and keep replying to them in it."

For Teams: "Managers can add logins to a Team Bot's own Vault in Configure, under Tools, and the Bot signs in with them for the team."

Why it matters#

Shopping and subscriptions become cards and templates you can act on, and every change still waits for your OK.

How to use it#

1. Open Settings, then Updates, choose Check for Updates, then Restart to Update (Cursor help).
2. Connect Shop Pay in the Vault's Payments tab if you use it.
3. Try the prompt below (ours, untested). Staff say it is "rolling out," and this box has no Grok Bot desktop app, so we could not try the new UI here.

Find the subscriptions I still pay for, show me each price and renewal date, and cancel only the ones I pick.

Good to know#

• On a product page, "Buy now starts an order you approve."
• The "Try it, don't pay for it" template "starts a free trial for you and cancels it, or reminds you, before it bills."

Whether the subscription templates work across stores, and how cancellations are confirmed in practice.
