Get a daily Slack digest of Grok Bot ideas from X

You can have a Bot read X for interesting Grok Bot uses every day and send you the best ideas in Slack at 9am. Lauren Tan, who works on Grok Bot, posted the prompt on Oct 8.

Why it matters#

Useful workflows show up in replies and quote posts that nobody reads in full. Grok Bot gained X search on Oct 7, so a Bot can do that reading on a schedule.

How to use it#

1. Connect the Slack plugin from Plugins in the sidebar. Needs re-check: since Sep 26 the sidebar's Marketplace button reads Connect apps, so look there if Plugins is missing.
2. Send the prompt below in a Bot chat, or tag @bot on X with it as Tan did.
3. Open the Bot's Tasks and confirm a daily 9:00 AM routine.

Good to know#

• Tan says it works without the X connector and that "search and reads are free."
• To tag @bot, Tan says to sign in to grok.com with your Grok Bot email and link your X account.
• Tan didn't share a sample digest, so we can't show the output.
• Tried it: We haven't tried this ourselves. The Daily Bot runs on a Bot computer without the Grok Bot desktop app, so we can't create the routine or connect Slack from here.
