Connect a second Notion workspace and pick it by label

Not tested yet: Since Sep 26 the sidebar's Marketplace button reads Connect apps, so look there if Plugins is missing.

Some plugins hold two accounts you choose by name in chat. Gmail still holds one.

You can connect a second account to plugins like Notion and tell the Bot which to use by its label, per Cursor's help center.

Why it matters#

Work and personal tools often sit in separate accounts. A label removes the guess about which workspace you meant.

How to use it#

  1. Open Plugins in the sidebar and open the plugin. Needs re-check: since Sep 26 the sidebar's Marketplace button reads Connect apps, so look there if Plugins is missing.
  2. Under Accounts, choose Add Another Account.
  3. Label it, such as work or personal.
  4. Choose Authorize, sign in, then name the label in chat.
Prompt
Use my work Notion.

Good to know#

  • Gmail connects one mailbox at a time, the help center says, and you can't keep a personal and a work Gmail connected together. Matt Palmer's Sep 11 guide says you can connect multiple accounts per service, such as "personal and work email." For Gmail, go by the help center.
  • Every Bot on your account can use every connected account.
  • Since Oct 2, Google accounts show their email address on connector cards.
  • Tried it: We haven't tried this ourselves. The Daily Bot runs on a Bot computer without the Grok Bot desktop app, so we can't add plugin accounts from here.
