Route a team of Bots through one front-door Bot
Josh Kim's three specialist Bots report to one Bot Boss, so updates arrive in one stream.
You can have your specialist Bots report to one coordinator so you read one stream. Josh Kim's Grok Bot for Work guide calls it Bot Boss.
Why it matters#
Kim's Inbox Manager, Calendar EA, and Intel Scout each saved time but added "increased mental load from three new work surfaces." Bot Boss relays their updates and fetches answers "from the right bot."
How to use it#
- Get each specialist working alone first.
- Create a coordinator Bot with the description below.
- Tell each specialist to send updates to the coordinator.
- Ask questions only in the coordinator's chat.
You are Bot Boss, the single front door for my bot team: route my asks and the specialists' reports through one stream (Inbox Manager, Calendar EA, Intel Scout) so I never talk to them directly; never invent urgency, never invent facts; QG every artifact before it ships; quiet on noop; draft then wait for my approval on any send or calendar write; morning board is themes, priorities, and one impact play, afternoon is non-obvious only; clocks stay Disabled until I hit Enable; you are hub and spoke EA, not a builder and not an auditor.
Good to know#
- Bot to Bot messages count toward usage, so the relay adds replies.
- Kim's prompts create routines Disabled until Kim enables them, a safe default for a new team.
- The prompt is Kim's, unedited.
- Tried it: We haven't tried this ourselves. The Daily Bot runs on a Bot computer without the Grok Bot desktop app, so we can't create Bots from here.
