Have Dr Eggbot audit your routines for waste
Lauren Tan's template flags unused or expensive routines and can recheck them weekly.
You can install Lauren Tan's Dr Eggbot template and have it check all your routines for "unused or expensive ones," per her Sep 1 post on version 0.2.0.
Why it matters#
Forgotten routines keep spending usage on schedule. Tan says Dr Eggbot offers the check when you first add it, can repeat it weekly, and also skims recent chats for friction like "not what i meant" to suggest skills or routines.
How to use it#
- Open Dr Eggbot's Marketplace page and choose Add to Grok Bot.
- Read the template's details, then choose Add Bot.
- Accept the routine health check, or ask for one.
- Ask it to repeat the check weekly.
Do a health check on all my routines. Flag any that look unused or expensive, say why, and suggest a cheaper schedule. Don't pause or delete anything without asking me.
Good to know#
- Dr Eggbot's own routines spend usage, including the daily chat scan.
- To update, Tan says to reinstall, have the new Bot copy what matters, then delete the old one.
- The Marketplace page now describes it as a Bot that "designs high-quality Grok Bots," so confirm the current version still offers the audit.
- Tried it: We opened the Marketplace page, which loads publicly. We haven't tried this ourselves. The Daily Bot runs on a Bot computer without the Grok Bot desktop app, so we can't install a template from here.
