Hark users say the Nov 1 reset moved their limit to Dec 1

Several Hark users say the Nov 1 reset didn't refill their usage and now shows Dec 1. Adcock says he'll take a look. Here's what to check and report.

What you can do now: if Hark says your monthly limit won't reset until Dec 1, screenshot your usage view and report it. Several users say the Nov 1 reset didn't give them a new month (user reports). Hark hasn't said whether it's a bug or a new limit.

What changed#

Before: on Oct 30, Brett Adcock, Hark's founder, wrote that "we started limiting tokens for free accounts in some countries such as Singapore," which we reported Saturday.

Now: Melvin Vivas, in Singapore per his profile, posted at 11:30 PM ET Saturday that the limit "is supposed to reset since it's Nov 1 now" but "instead it moved up the reset to Dec 1" (user report). His screenshot shows "Monthly resets Dec 1, 2026 at 8:00 AM". Adcock replied Sunday at 11:27 AM ET: "Will take a look".

A user posting as Boss shared a "Hark Pro (free) plan" dashboard at 61% of the month used, beside a "You’ve hit your monthly limit" card with a Dec 1 reset. Leon Lee, Theophilus Tay, ddeonu and almali report the same (user reports).

Why it matters#

A locked account can't run your jobs. Xstudy, a "free-plan user from Singapore", said that the lockout nearly made them miss cancelling a card-linked payment on Oct 31, and that three support tickets got only automated replies (user report).

Good to know#

  • Not explained. In the posts we searched, @hark_labs hasn't addressed the reports, and Hark publishes no reset dates or free amounts.
  • Unverified numbers. On the forum linux.do, users report a free daily limit of 8 million tokens on Oct 28, then 500,000 for new accounts, and one says 75,000 a day on Nov 1 (user reports, unverified).
  • Background refreshes count. Terry Schussler told Xstudy that frequently refreshing Panels and scheduled tasks "will count towards your usage limits" (user report).

What to do#

  1. If Hark's usage view shows a Dec 1 reset, screenshot it with the date visible.
  2. Report it: Hark's Using Hark page says "Go to Settings → Send Feedback", and it links support@hark.com.
  3. Once you're back in, check which Panels and scheduled tasks refresh themselves.

What to watch#

Whether Hark calls the Dec 1 dates a bug, restores usage, or publishes free limits by country.

Last checked: Nov 2, 2026, 6:17 to 6:22 AM ET. What changed: first published Nov 2.

Steps

  1. Open Hark's usage view and note your plan, daily and monthly use, and the monthly reset date it shows.
  2. If it shows a Dec 1 reset right after Nov 1, screenshot it with the date visible.
  3. Report it in the app under Settings, then Send Feedback, or email support@hark.com, and include the screenshot.
  4. Once you can use Hark again, check which Panels and scheduled tasks refresh on their own, since users say those draw from the same limit.
  5. Our suggestion: keep reminders you can't miss in your phone's own calendar too, so a lockout can't hide them.
