Grok BotReleases
Routines can be paused and resumed
Version 0.52.0 lets you stop a routine for a while without deleting it.
Grok Bot 0.52.0, out Sep 15, lets you pause a routine and resume it later. A day earlier, 0.51.0 let you delete a routine, which also stops its future runs, and made setup create your first Bot for you.
Why it matters#
You can stop a routine for a while, over a holiday for example, without deleting it and setting it up again later.
Everything in 0.52.0#
New#
- Routines: You can pause a routine and resume it later.
Improved#
- GitHub: The built-in GitHub connection in the Marketplace shows whether your account is connected, with Connect GitHub when it isn't.
- Sidebar: Rows no longer show the time of the last message, and the collapsed sidebar has a Marketplace shortcut.
Fixed#
- Replies: Bots no longer send a second acknowledgment after they've already replied.
- Computer: Clicks and typing on the Bot's computer still work when Grok Bot can't check the page first.
- Code blocks: Scrolling sideways in one no longer slides the whole message.
- Browser: The Bot's browser no longer offers to save passwords after it signs in.
- Approvals: Approval cards close when their time runs out.
- Updates: Pressing Enter on Update ready restarts to update.
Good to know#
- Routine controls moved in 0.68.0. Right-click a routine in the details pane for Pause, Resume, Test, Edit, and Delete.
