On-demand limits and multi-select questions

Version 0.25.0 lets individual plans set a monthly on-demand limit to None, Fixed, or Unlimited.

Grok Bot 0.25.0, out Aug 25, added a monthly on-demand limit for individual plans in Usage & Billing, with None, Fixed, and Unlimited options. When included usage runs out, team members can also upgrade to a Premium seat, alongside Ultra and SuperGrok Heavy.

Why it matters#

On an individual plan, you decide what happens after your included usage is gone: stop, spend up to a fixed amount, or keep going. Bots can also ask you questions with more than one right answer and take all of your picks.

Everything in 0.25.0#

New#

  • Questions: When a Bot asks a question that allows several answers, select the ones you want and press Submit.
  • Billing: On an individual plan, set your monthly on-demand limit to None, Fixed, or Unlimited in Usage & Billing.
  • Routines: A GitHub routine can watch a single pull request, including when it closes. It removes itself once the pull request merges or closes.
  • Diagrams: Download a diagram in the chat as a PNG image.
  • Chat: Click a Bot mentioned in a conversation to open it.

Improved#

  • Teams: When included usage runs out, team members can upgrade to a Premium seat, alongside Ultra and SuperGrok Heavy.
  • Deleting Bots: A deleted Bot leaves the sidebar as soon as you confirm, and you're told if deleting fails.

Fixed#

  • Message box: Pasted text stays plain, and anything you type right after sending is kept.
  • Links: Messages that start with a link show the rest of their text, and the link stays clickable.
  • Teams: Grok Bot uses the team you selected for rules, Usage & Billing, and Computers. If that team is gone, it switches to one you can still use.
  • Privacy Mode: It keeps a conversation off the Bot's computer when it must not be stored.
  • Computer: The Bot's computer finishes restoring its files, including ones with long names.
