What counts against your weekly usage

A Cursor staff answer says the weekly pool is cost-based, and Bot-launched cloud agents bill to your Cursor plan.

Almost everything a Bot does comes out of the weekly Grok Bot allowance, Cursor staff member @deanrie wrote on the Cursor forum on Sep 10. That covers chats, routines, browser and computer use, shell commands, sub-agents, MCP calls, and repo work on the Bot's machine.

The exception is a Cursor cloud agent the Bot launches. "Those runs bill to your Cursor plan like a normal cloud agent," the reply says, so one task can draw on both. The weekly percentage is "cost-based, not based on raw token count," priced per model call.

If the weekly pool runs out and on-demand is off, Grok Bot pauses until the reset. With on-demand on, setting the overall spend limit to $0 on the Spending page stops the overflow, per the same answer.
